The Voelker Orth Museum is a great place for art lovers to spend an afternoon. Back to home.

There are a number of temporary exhibits at the Voelker Orth Museum. The dining room is home to a large exhibit featuring the work of Elizabeth P. Korn, a German artist who fled to the U.S. in the 1930s. She created sculpture-collages using mixed media in the 1960s and 1970s. Her art is a testament to the strength of the women she met.

While the museum’s interior displays an incredible amount of art, the garden is a must-see for nature lovers. The grounds include a Victorian garden and a garden with plants dating back to the eighteenth century. It is kept organically using organic fertilizers and pesticides. The garden also serves as a bird sanctuary. Monarch butterflies and other species of butterflies enjoy the lush surroundings, and there’s a beehive that produces honey that is used for educational purposes.

The Voelker Orth Museum is a New York City Landmark and a Path Through History Site. It preserves the cultural and horticultural heritage of Flushing. The museum offers educational programs all year round and is a recognized New York City Landmark. There’s also an extensive exhibit space where you can learn about the history of the neighborhood and the area. At the Voelker Orth Museum, you’ll find a wonderful, educational experience that will leave you inspired.

The Voelker Orth Museum is a great place to bring the family. The museum’s beautiful garden is open all year round, and a visit is like stepping back in time to an earlier New York City. While you’re here, make sure to take the time to participate in their fun family activities. In the summer, there’s art-making in the garden. For the kids, the museum hosts Earth Day celebrations and Halloween Family Fun Nights.

Conrad Voelker, the museum’s founder, emigrated from Germany to America in 1881. His home became the home of his daughter Theresa, who later married Dr. Rudolph Orth. The Orths kept the house for many years, and after his death in 1993, the museum became an educational institution. The museum also hosts various species of birds and butterflies. A variety of orioles, mockingbirds, and butterflies reside here.

Located next to the 1964/65 World’s Fair’s Unisphere, the Voelker Orth Museum Queens is an excellent place to visit. Previously, the museum was a stuffy, dark place that had fallen into disrepair. However, this place opened its doors to the public in November 2013. Next post here.
