Do you have one or more missing teeth? We’re here to help.
At Corbin Dental, Dr. Bruce and Richard Corbin provide patients with long-lasting and secure restorative solutions. Dental implants, dental bridges, and dentures replace lost or missing teeth with natural-looking results. Tooth restoration not only improves the appearance of teeth but also strengthens teeth and improves overall oral health. Patients who receive restorative dental care can comfortably smile, bite, and chew with improved form and function.
Why Replace Missing Teeth?
In the long run, a missing tooth or teeth can create more dental and medical problems, such as:
- Shifting teeth, causing tooth crowding
- Bone loss
- Difficulty biting and chewing
- Increased tooth decay and gum disease
- Difficulty speaking
- Bad breath
If you have noticed any of these dental issues, contact our offices as soon as possible. Our dental team will help ensure that these dental problems stop before they worsen.
Restorative Dental Solutions
Prior to treatment, our dentists will discuss your restorative treatment options to determine which option is right for you. Here are the options offered at Corbin Dental:
Dental Implants
Dental implants work well for patients who are missing a tooth or have several missing teeth. This solution also requires the least maintenance. In the dental implant procedure, a titanium post is secured and integrated into the jaw bone. After a healing period, an abutment is attached to the implant to hold the replacement tooth or teeth.
Dental Bridge
Dental bridges are used to “bridge the gap” between a tooth or teeth. This solution is secured with dental implants or dental crowns and can replace one tooth or multiple teeth. Dental bridges can also be removable or fixed for patient’s convenience.
Dentures
The denture procedure uses dental implants that secure a temporary denture, while a permanent denture is custom-fabricated. In 3 to 6 months, custom-fit permanent dentures are implanted for a new, long-lasting smile. Dentures are best for patients who have many or all of their teeth missing.
